Hi everyone. It's been a while since I've posted, but there is still lots of exciting stuff happening at Broulee Public School. The school has been busy implementing synthetic phonics, and more photos will follow. The purpose of this update is to fill you in on our school numeracy programs. The Learning Support Program allows the school School Learning Support Officers (SLSOs) to assist with numeracy groups in classrooms. This means that there are many classes in the school that have assistance during numeracy lessons. As most classes do numeracy rotations with small groups, this means that the classroom teacher and SLSOs work with small groups of children to give extra support and intervention.
